  • Kind Kenny Banana
Play Kind Kenny BananaKind Kenny Banana

Kenny turns harvesting the Orchard into a calypso dance event.  You can hear him singing throughout the groves, bringing other workers into the song.  Kenny is loved by everyone; you meet him once, you'll always remember him.  One reason is because he shows everyone so much kindness.  He remembers names, birthdays, and any other info about different people.  Kenny especially loves kids and kids flock to him like a pied piper.

  • Faithful Freddie Orange
Play Faithful Freddie OrangeFaithful Freddie Orange

If Freddie were an animal instead of a Fruit, he'd be a loyal bassett hound.  Freddie has faithfully worked at the Sunnyfruit Farms Inn every since it opened.  He likes the Inn because that's where he can meet lots of interesting tourists and visitors to Sunnyfruit Farms.  He never forgets a face and can remember tons of detail about people he's only met once.

  • Lovable Sherry Strawberry
Play Lovable Sherry StrawberryLovable Sherry Strawberry

Sherry Strawberry is very sweet and even a little bit juicy.  After meeting her, you just want to squeeze her, since she so freely gives out love and compassion.

  • Patient Peter Plum
Play Patient Peter PlumPatient Peter Plum

Peter sees the big picture in most things, which is one source of his patience.  He oversees the planting and harvesting at the Orchard because those things take patience.  He knows that with planting comes a harvest, but you can't make the trees bear fruit faster than God made them to be able to.  While other Fruit Friends might want the crops to come in faster, Peter reminds them that patience is needed to wait for what's coming.

  • Gentle Ginny Grape
Play Gentle Ginny GrapeGentle Ginny Grape

Ginny is pleasant to be around.  Even when angry or frustrated, she still holds on to her gentle spirit.  Her job is to pack the fruit in the crates to load them on the truck and that job in itself takes great gentleness, so as not to bruise the fruit.

  • Joyous Johnny Apple
Play Joyous Johnny AppleJoyous Johnny Apple

Johnny has a fever pitched love of life and of people.  He oversees the gathering of fruit at the Orchard, is chairman of the Better Living Through Fertilizer committee, organizes the Seed Recycling program and in his spare time is writing an opera about Sunnyfruit Farms.  The driving force behind his energy and enthusiasm is per joy.

  • Peaceful Penny Pear
Play Peaceful Penny PearPeaceful Penny Pear

Penny is a natural peacemaker among friends and sometimes even among enemies.  She likes to bring things to a calm and serene state.  However, with all the busyness at Sunnyfruit Farms and all the kids passing through, things are anything but calm.  And the hecticness often leads to thin tempers.  Penny has a knack that just when arguments or other conflicts are breaking out, she pops in to help restore peace.

  • Les Lemon Self Control
Play Les Lemon Self ControlLes Lemon Self Control

Les is a realist.  Or sourpuss, as some would say.  He's the voice of reason, the voice of caution.  He's not pessimistic; he cjust can see the odds of any adventure or plan working out and loves to share his thoughts.

  • Good Gracie Peach
Play Good Gracie PeachGood Gracie Peach

Gracie has a simple rule to live by, "Treat other people the way you'd like them to treat you."  She's always thinking about "the other Fruit" and how she can help them.  Gracie organizes the Fruit for all programs on the Farm where the Fruit Friends ship truckloads of fruit to people outside their area who don't have enough to eat.  This kind of program takes lots of energy, so she's always recruiting volunteers.  Gracie's hard to say "no" to and usually can get the workers she needs.
